Women’s Budget Group report: The Female Face of Poverty

Poverty is gendered. Women in the UK are slightly more likely to live in poverty than men when this is measured on the usual household basis (21% of adult women, compared to 19% of adult men in 2016-17).

Joint Committee on Human Rights report: Windrush Generation Detention

The Home Office provided ‘no credible explanation’ as to why two children of the Windrush generation, Paulette Wilson and Anthony Bryan, were wrongfully locked up twice, depriving them of their human right to liberty.
