The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) reviewed the UK’s implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in May 2016 and published their report. UN CRC raised concerns and made recommendations on a number of children’s rights issues.

In June 2016, the EDF Research Network and the Centre for Research on Law, Equality and Diversity held a seminar to discuss ‘Raising the bar on equality and fair treatment at work’.
The Refugee Rights Data Project produced a report Unsafe Borderlands in June 2016. The report revealed disturbing information about the safety of women living in the Calais camp finding that over 40% of women have experienced violence, nearly three quarters felt unsafe and over half felt their health had suffered during their time there.
The Race Equality Foundation published a report Dementia, Equity and Rights in June 2016.
