‘Prejudice and unlawful behaviour, exploring levers for change’ was published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission on 29 July 2016.
The Scottish Government published a report, ‘New Perspectives on the Gender Pay Gap: Trends and Drivers’, in June 2016. The report explains the different measures of the pay gap, breaking it down by age, sector and occupation and considers how it has been changing over time.
Nathan Hudson-Sharp and Hilary Metcalf of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) published a report, ‘Inequality among lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender groups in the UK: a review of evidence’, in July 2016.
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation published a report ‘Foreign-born people and poverty in the UK’ in July 2016. The report highlights that foreign-born people are at a higher risk of poverty than UK-born people, across a range of characteristics.
The Scottish Council of Jewish Communities published their report ‘What’s changed about being Jewish in Scotland’ in July 2016, highlighting the findings of their 2015 project.
A report into LGBT Londoners’ unmet needs, Still Out There, was published in July 2016. The research was carried out by Anglia Ruskin University and the report was produced by a partnership of LGBT organisations with funding from Trust for London.
