In July 2015, the Government Equalities Officer published a memorandum providing a factual account of developments since the Equality Act 2010 received Royal Assent.

Maria Miller was elected as chair of the Women and Equalities Committee in June 2015. The Committee will examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Government Equalities Office (GEO).
