Following Theresa May’s appointment as Prime Minister on 13 July 2016, a number of new ministers were appointed.
- The Rt Hon Justine Greening MP was appointed as Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities.
- The Rt Hon Liz Truss MP was appointed as the first female Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice.
- The Rt Hon David Davis MP was appointed Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union.
