Government Equalities Office announcement: Upcoming consultation on the Gender Recognition Act 2004

Penny Mordaunt, The Minister for Women and Equalities, said that the Government will shortly publish a consultation on the Gender Recognition Act 2004.

She reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to revise the Gender Recognition Act on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia,

The 1000+ responses received in the 2017 National LGBT Survey are being used to shape the questions of the consultation.
