Court of Appeal overturns abolition of the Independent Living Fund

On 6 November 2013, the Court of Appeal upheld a legal challenge by five disabled people against the Government’s decision to close the Independent Living Fund.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission, which intervened in the case, issued a press release welcoming the ruling and Inclusion London also welcomed the ruling.
