Briefing on the gaps between GB and Northern Ireland equality law

In January 2011, the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland published a briefing note on ‘The gaps between GB and NI equality law’.

The note highlights the gaps between Great Britain (GB) and Northern Ireland equality law following the introduction of the Equality Act 2010 last April.

The provisions of the Act, apart from a few minor exceptions, only apply to GB and do not change equality law in NI.
