‘We will develop online information and advice to make young women aware of their workplace rights and how to deal with challenges at work’.
This is from the Young Women’s Trust (YMT) new three-year strategy (pdf), in April 2019. The strategy has been shaped by the young women they work with.
Over the next three years YWT will:
- Provide 1,000 young women with small grants to enable them to take steps towards work or training
- Undertake high quality research to ensure the needs of young women and the barriers they face are widely understood
- Campaign for the National Living
- Wage to be extended to under 25s.
