TUC report on ‘Disability and employment’

Disability and employment: a social model study of the employment experiences of disabled people in Great Britain, with a focus on mental illness was published by the TUC in May 2015.

The report shows that ‘disabled people consistently fare worse in employment than non-disabled people.…  Those with mental health problems experience especially pronounced disadvantage due to inflexible workplaces and ignorance about their impairments.’
