The Fawcett Society published a briefing on the gender pay gap by ethnicity in Britain in March 2017. The analysis revealed real inequalities, with some minority ethnic groups making strides while pay for others lags behind.
The EHRC launched an inquiry into housing for disabled people in December 2016, and called for evidence in February 2017. Submissions from disabled people and relevant organisations should be made by 18 April 2017.
An independent review by Baroness McGregor-Smith on issues affecting black and minority ethnic groups in the workplace was published in February 2017. The Government response was published alongside the review.

The Women and Equalities Select Committee published a report on ensuring strong equalities legislation after Brexit in February 2017, after an earlier inquiry. Our Chief Executive, Ali Harris, said “We welcome the four positive recommendations made by the committee which seek to embed equality into the UK legislative and policy framework, specifically aided by civil society organisations.”

Citizens Advice Cymru published a report, ‘Work and health in Wales’, in February 2017. The report says that people of working age with disabilities or long term health conditions are also much less likely to be in work than those without disabilities or health conditions.
