Runnymede’s film ‘Race on Screen’ was launched in January 2013 and documents a series of lectures and panel debates organised as part of the Generation 3.0 project. In London, Manchester and Birmingham, Runnymede saw lively and important debates between older and younger people around representation of race on film and television. Contributors to the film include actor Riz Ahmed, academic and filmmaker Imruh Bakari, Eastenders’ Himesh Patel, BBC news presenter Warren Nettleford, young filmmaker Victoria Ijeh and more.
