ROTA/MiNet report: ’The Impact of the Economic Downturn on BAME Education Services’

In May 2011, ROTA launched a mapping report on the Impact of the Economic Downturn on BAME Education Services. ROTA’s research was carried out through the Minority Ethnic Network (MiNet).

This mapping exercise aims to gather information about the effects of cuts in funding on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in the London area, in respect of education services provided by voluntary sector organisations.

The report brings together evidence on the vulnerability of smaller organisations including the closure of services.
