In December 2011, the Welsh Government published the ‘Welsh Ministers Report on the implementation of the Disability Equality Duty’.
The report highlights just some of the work taking place to ensure equality for disabled people across Wales.
It will be the last Welsh Ministers Report on the implementation of the Disability Equality Duty. In the future, the Welsh Ministers will be required to publish an Equality ‘State of the Nation’ report covering all protected characteristics across all public authorities as set out in Schedule 19 of the Equality Act 2010.
