A report on Combating Sexual Orientation Discrimination in the European Union by the European Network of Legal Experts in the Non-discrimination Field was published by the European Commission in 2015.
This report examines the existing legal frameworks prohibiting sexual orientation discrimination, at international as well as European and national levels. The particular focus of the report is on the relevant provisions of the Employment Equality Directive, the case-law of the Court of Justice of the EU and on the practical implementation at national level in all Member States.
