Launched in 2012, the Oxford Human Rights Hub aims to bring together academics, practitioners and policy-makers in different parts of the world to advance the understanding and protection of human rights and equality.
The OxHRH is based in the law faculty of Oxford University under the auspices of the Rhodes Chair for the study of the laws of the British Commonwealth and the USA, Professor Sandra Fredman. Its core includes Oxford academics, research students and visiting academics, while its reach extends to a wide range of countries, through its research network, its website, and its seminar series, workshops and publications. A key element is the creation of an interface with policy-makers and practitioners.
