The Prison Reform Trust’s independent review, chaired by Lord Laming, published its report In Care, Out of Trouble, in June 2016.
The Social Market Foundation published a briefing on devolution and poverty in June 2016. According to the briefing greater devolution in England has been largely framed around growth, with much less debate about the impact on poverty.
The Centre for Mental Health published a review of child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in June 2016. It finds that mental health problems are common among young people but that awareness is poor and most attempts by parents to get help are unsuccessful.

The Office for National Statistics published a report on persistent poverty in June 2016. According to the report 3.9 million people (or 6.5% of the population) in the UK are in ‘persistent poverty’.

The Care Quality Commission published its strategy for 2016-2021 in June 2016, as well as a summary for each sector.
