EHRC follow-up report on disability-related harassment

On 22 October 2012, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) published  Out in the open: A manifesto for change, a follow-up to its 2011 inquiry into disability-related harassment.

The report shows that authorities need to take further steps to ensure that harassment of disabled people is taken more seriously and makes recommendations in seven strategic areas which need to be addressed if disability-related harassment is to be reduced.
