Disability Unit consultation: Disability workforce reporting

This consultation explores the topic of workforce reporting on disability – both voluntary and mandatory – for large employers (250 employees and above).

The National Disability Strategy, published in July 2021, sets out how the Government will work towards creating a society that is fully inclusive for disabled people. An important part of this is enabling disabled people to obtain, retain and progress in work.

A key commitment in the National Disability Strategy is to consult on the issue of workforce reporting on disability for large employers, exploring voluntary and mandated workplace transparency.
