Women and Equalities Select Committee session on boundary reviews and representation of women MPs

In October 2016 the Women and Equalities Select Committee examined The Good Parliament report and how the boundary reviews could influence the representation of women MPs in the next Parliament in a session.

The session enquired into:

  • How the boundary reviews could influence the representation of women MPs in the next Parliament
  • The role and action of political parties in promoting the number of women in the Commons
  • The recommendations of The Good Parliament report on creating a more representative and inclusive House of Commons
