Women and Equalities Committee inquiry: Prostitution – how can we tackle inequalities and harm?

The Women and Equalities Committee has launched a new inquiry, in July 2019, into tackling inequalities and harm associated with sex work. They are seeking submissions from organisations, and are particularly looking to hear from those who are or have been involved in sex work.

The inquiry seeks to identify what harms are associated with buying and selling sex. It also asks how effective Government policies are in tackling these harms, and looks at what more could be done.
