UN Special Rapporteur report on housing in the UK

A report from the United Nations Special Rapporteur outlines findings from a visit to the United Kingdom in 2013 to examine the realization of the right to adequate housing in the United Kingdom in light of international human rights standards.

The report of the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living, and on the right to non-discrimination in this context noted the Rapporteur’s concerns about the erosion of policies and practices which had protected the realization of the right to adequate housing, and the impact on specific population groups.
