The UK Race and Europe Network (UKREN) has constructed a web site especially for the European Parliament elections that shows a map and calendar of NGO activities with a race equality focus, such as hustings, meetings and events, together with communication tools and information that you might use.
The UK will elect 73 MEPs to the European Parliament on 22 May 2014. Immigration and race equality will be important and possibly divisive election issues. It is vital that registered voters from all race, nationality, ethnicity, religious and faithgroups cast their vote. Members of UKREN and like-minded race equality organisations are arranging activities to question prospective MEPs on their race equality and immigration stances, and mobilise voters. This website will share information on NGO activities, policy papers about the elections and communication materials, with race equality as the focus.
UKREN will be adding events and new communication tools to the EP2014 website, so please do regularly check it.
