The Law Society Gazette article: Legal Aid Cuts Shown Up as False Economy – New Research

The Law Society Gazette published a November 2017 article on the Law Society’s report on the growing evidence that the government’s legal aid cuts have been a false economy.

Christina Blacklaws, vice-president of the Society, states:

‘Without early legal advice, relatively minor problems can escalate, creating health, social and financial problems, placing additional pressure and cost on already stretched public services’.
