In 2013 Stonewall remains deeply concerned that lesbian, gay and bisexual people continue to live in fear of homophobic abuse. In spite of significant legal changes in recent years, Stonewall’s research shows that many gay people remain subject to violence and intimidation, with far too few reporting what they have experienced to the police.
‘Homophobic Hate Crime: The Gay British Crime Survey 2013’ was published by Stonewall in October 2013.
