Shaping Our Lives feel that disabled people are under-represented as foster carers – and are researching the experiences of disabled people who have been, or applied to be, foster carers.
They are interested in finding out about:
- Whether fostering services are inclusive of disabled people interested in becoming foster carers
- If there are barriers to becoming a foster carer
- Hearing from disabled people who have been foster carers and the outcome
