In January 2017, the Scottish Women’s Convention (SWC) published a report on the impact of Brexit on Scottish women (pdf). This report followed a conference sharing concerns about Scotland’s place in Brexit negotiations.
Agnes Tolmie, SWC Chair, said:
‘Women are 52% of the population. We are the cornerstone of communities. Brexit is going to impact on us – as individuals, as families and as a society. We need the best deal possible. We need to be heard.’
