Scottish Parliament report: ‘Where Gypsy/Travellers live’

‘Where Gypsy/Travellers live’, a report by Scottish Parliament’s Equal Opportunities Committee, was published in March 2013.

The report includes the recommendation that ‘an existing Scottish Government minister is given a new specific and overarching responsibility for the on-going support and profile-raising of Gypsy/Travellers’. The Committee also strongly recommends ‘that the Scottish Government launch a national public awareness-raising campaign aimed at tackling discrimination and racism against Gypsy/Travellers as soon as possible’.
