Report: ‘Transforming Lives – reducing women’s imprisonment’

Transforming Lives – reducing women’s imprisonment was published in December 2014 by the Prison Reform Trust working in conjunction with Soroptimist UKPAC. It maps services available for women in the criminal justice system across the UK, as well as identifying gaps in service provision. It makes a series of recommendations for each of the nations, including around the need for training on statutory duties under the Equality Act and for the development of guidance on compliance with equalities legislation.
