Parliamentary committee report: ‘Violence against women and girls’

On 19 February 2015, the Joint Committee for Human Rights (JCHR) published a report on Violence against women and girls.

The report warns that ‘the Government could harm its international reputation by failing to ratify the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (the Istanbul Convention)’.
