The Traveller Movement published a report on Gypsy, Traveller and Roma children in the youth justice system in December 2016.
The report analysed the Children in Custody 2015–16 data (HM Inspectorate of Prisons), and found that Gypsy, Traveller and Roma children report greater levels of need and worse experiences in custody than other children.
