In June 2014, the Office for National Statistics published a compendium of UK Statistics, including interactive content on subjects such as population structure, unemployment and life expectancy.
The compendium pulls together comparable statistics, from across the Government Statistical Service, for the 4 nations of the UK. Statistics are grouped into four themes – The Economy, Population and Migration, Social Indicators and The Environment. The compendium includes headline comparisons, some detailed commentary for key statistics and a data catalogue with links to the data sources.
The Guardian published an article about the compendium on 6 June.
