OECD report on the economic crisis, income changes and inequality

Results from the OECD Income Distribution Database published in May 2013 document the impact on OECD countries betweetn 2007 and 2010 of the global economic crisis.

The data show that ‘[t]he pain of the crisis was not evenly shared. The distribution of market income widened considerably during the first phase of the crisis in most OECD countries’.
