National Autistic Society report on the autism employment gap

The National Autistic Society published a report on the autism employment gap in November 2016, as part of their ‘Too Much Information‘ campaign.

The report finds that just 16% of autistic adults are in full-time paid work (static since 2007), and overall, only 32% of autistic adults are in some kind of paid work. But 77% of unemployed autistic adults, or people responding on their behalf, told the NAS that they want to work.
