NatCen report: Racial Prejudice in Britain Today

26% of respondents to the 2017 British Social Attitudes Survey describe themselves as ‘very’ or ‘a little’ racially prejudiced.

In this September 2017 report (pdf), NatCen explore attitudes to racial prejudice in Britain.

The report notes that when it comes to racial prejudice, we are not seeing the
trend towards social ‘liberalisation’ that is so marked in other areas,
particularly attitudes to same sex relationships.
