JUSTICE guide: Law for Scottish Lawmakers

Whilst the legal profession has always been well-represented in politics, politicians are not elected for their ability as lawyers. JUSTICE have published a May 2017 guide (pdf) to support politicians hold the Scottish Government to account.

The report, an update of their 2015 publication, gives a basic introduction to some of the core legal and constitutional principles with which parliamentarians grapple on a daily basis at Holyrood.
