Equally Ours has contributed to and co-signed the Joint Briefing for the House of Lords ahead of the report stage of the on the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill (PCSC Bill), led by Liberty.

This briefing outlines that Part 3 of the PCSC Bill stands to have grave implications for our rights to protest.

As a coalition spanning the human rights, privacy, criminal justice, democracy, racial justice, children’s rights, international development, environment, freedom of speech and expression, violence against women and girls, refugees’ and migrants’ rights, community and faith sectors, we are calling for the removal of Part 3 of the PCSC Bill.
