In December 2015, the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) published The Freedom of Thought Report 2015.
The Freedom of Thought report ‘is the only annual survey looking at the rights and treatment of the non-religious in every country in the world. … Our findings show that the overwhelming majority of countries fail to respect the rights of humanists, atheists and the non-religious’.
