Human rights in action – on film

The Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has joined forces with NHS Health Scotland and the Health and Social Care Alliance (Scotland) to make five short films showing human rights in action in health and social care. These are designed to be a very practical and accessible resource to help bring human rights to life.

The films have been produced as part of Scotland’s National Action Plan for Human Rights. They share people’s experiences of using human rights to challenge and improve the quality of health and care services they use. Backed up by a more detailed booklet, they also show how health and social care organisations are taking a human rights based approach to their work.

The films were launched on 12 June 2015.
