The House of Lords European Union Committee published a report, ‘Children in crisis: unaccompanied migrant children in the EU‘, in July 2016.
In this inquiry the Committee has sought to assess the nature and scale of the challenges presented; consider whether existing EU provisions translate into clear obligations for professionals throughout national administrations; and evaluate which further measures could alleviate some of the challenges faced.
