The Home Office have launched a call for evidence as part of their independent review of Prevent. The call is published as an online survey, and seeks to generate written responses from as wide a range of respondents as possible.
This is an open call for evidence, meant for anyone who can offer an insight into what Prevent means, how it works, and how it affects individuals and communities. The questions posed are laid out in the review’s terms of reference, and include:
- Is Prevent achieving its objectives?
- How effectively does Prevent interact with other safeguarding and vulnerability strategies?
- How could Prevent be improved to respond to justified criticisms and complaints?
