On 26 February 2015 the European Parliament’s committees on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) and Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) had a joint meeting that included a presentation of the opinion by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on accession to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR).
Claude Moraes MEP, Chair of LIBE and Danuta Maria Hubner MEP, Chair of AFCO both reiterated the Parliament’s commitment to accession.
