European Islamophobia Report published

The first edition of the annual European Islamophobia Report (EIR) was published in May 2016. It recommends that Islamophobia be recognised as a crime and included in national statistics across Europe.

It is the first to cover a wide range of Eastern European countries like Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, and Latvia. The study looks at the employment sector, education, politics, media, internet, the justice system, and networks.
