Equally Ours has produced a short briefing (pdf) based on the Chancellors’ announcement on the November 2020 Spending Review and on our Shared Principles for the UKSPF.
In the November 2020 Spending Review the Government reaffirmed its intention to establish the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to replace EU Structural Funds.
Although few details are available, we know that the fund will be UK-wide and in two parts. The first will target ‘places most in need’, the second part will be directed at bespoke employment and training programmes for people facing barriers to the labour market.
