Equally Ours acts as the secretariat for the Funders for Race Equality Alliance, which is a group of charitable foundations working together to achieve race equality in the UK.
The Alliance has commissioned a Mapping of the race equality sector in England, which aims to improve Funder’s understanding of the sector and increase funding to support, strengthen and sustain BME and race equality organisations.
This mapping aims to better our understanding of the sector and increase funding to support, strengthen and sustain BME and race equality organisations.
We are running a series of focus groups and interviews to gather more detailed information about organisation’s experiences of funding within the sector.
Details on the focus groups:
Each focus group will last 2 hours and will be held online. Each group will have representation from a range of organisations across England and from different sectors/fields.
The focus group dates are:
- Tue 02/02/21 (14:00-16:00)
- Wed 03/02/21 (14:00-16:00)
- Thurs 04/02/21 (10:00-12:00)
- Thurs 04/02/21 (14:00-16:00)
- Fri 05/02/21 (10:00-12:00)
- Wed 10/02/21 (10:00-12:00)
- Thurs 11/02/21 (10:00-12:00)
