The Minister for Women and Equalities has begun recruitment for a new Wales Commissioner and a new board member of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).
The move comes as the tenure of Lord Bernard Ribeiro, one of 13 current EHRC Commissioners, comes to an end in December. It is expected that appointments will be made in November. Recruitment for the roles is now open and applications will be taken until 3 September 2021. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with the Governance Code for Public Appointments.
