Dipex Charity resource: Experiences of trans and gender diverse young people

Dipex Charity has published a resource on healthtalk.org on the experiences of young trans and gender diverse people.

The is resource includes a collection of personal stories in film, audio and in text format, from 50 trans and gender diverse people in England, Wales and Scotland.

It details what people said about their experience of coming out as trans and changing names, pronouns and appearance, their experiences with GPs, mental health and support, school and college, being referred to gender identity service and experiences with the service, hormones, surgery, sexuality and sexual health, where they looked for information about gender diversity and trans-specific healthcare and what they think would improve services.
