The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Home Office have released their strategy, launched July 2019, with recommendations to improve state-led enforcement of employment rights.
The report’s recommendations include:
- Prioritising enforcement resources towards sectors identified as key exploitation risks,
- Improving guidance offered to employers,
- Increasing joint working between agencies to tackle more serious instances of non-compliance.
