The Access to Elected Office for Disabled People Strategy gives support to disabled people who want to get elected. Part of the strategy includes an online training course which provides an introduction to standing for elected office and includes case studies or examples contributed by disabled people who have already participated in political life.
The course is general and will be of interest to anyone interested in standing for elected office and who has no previous experience or knowledge of electoral issues.
