The Ministry of Justice held a first stakeholder event in March on the mid-term report in the context of the UK’s Universal Periodic Review.
In 2013 the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) published the first EU-wide study on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). A public consultation on combating FGM ran until 30 May.
The Equality and Diversity Forum and others submitted responses to the Government’s consultation on proposed changes to judicial review.
On 27 November 2012, the Commission on a Bill of Rights published the responses to its July 2012 (second) consultation paper.
In September 2012, the Equality and Diversity Forum (EDF) submitted its response to the Commission on a Bill of Rights’ second consultation.
In August 2012, the Commission on a Bill of Rights published the responses to its August 2011 Discussion Paper asking ‘Do we need a UK Bill of Rights?’
On 11 July 2012, the Commssion on a Bill of Rights published its second consultation paper. The deadline for responding was 30 September 2012.
In October 2011, the Equality and Diversity Forum responded to the UK Border Agency consultation on family migration.
In June 2011, the Government published its response to the proposals for the reform of legal aid in England and Wales.
Following the Government’s consultation on Rights and Responsibilities (published in March 2009), the Ministry of Justice published a summary of responses to the consultation on 30 March 2010.
